My work focuses on connecting business priorities with the communication employees and stakeholders need to understand them and act.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2080\" data-end=\"2308\">This requires more than delivering messages. It requires understanding the organization, the audience, the environment, and the gap that can exist between what an institution intends to communicate and what people actually hear.<\/p>\r\n<hr data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2313\" \/>\r\n<h2 data-start=\"2315\" data-end=\"2340\">Rhetoric &amp; Scholarship<\/h2>\r\n<p data-start=\"2342\" data-end=\"2431\">I hold a PhD in Rhetorics, Communication, and Information Design from Clemson University.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2433\" data-end=\"2650\">My scholarship focuses on <strong data-start=\"2459\" data-end=\"2501\">institutional and vernacular rhetorics<\/strong>, particularly the space between official narratives and the ways people experience, interpret, remember, and give language to their lived realities.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2652\" data-end=\"2827\">I study how language, narrative, audience, identity, memory, and power shape meaning, and what happens when institutional narratives and lived experience intersect or diverge.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2829\" data-end=\"2978\">This scholarship informs how I approach communication professionally, particularly questions of audience, credibility, narrative, context, and trust.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"2980\" data-end=\"3008\"><a href=\"https:\/\/stacycacciatore.com\/index.php\/my-scholarship\/\"><strong data-start=\"2980\" data-end=\"3008\">Explore My Scholarship<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\r\n<hr data-start=\"3039\" data-end=\"3042\" \/>\r\n<h2 data-start=\"3044\" data-end=\"3069\">Writing &amp; Publications<\/h2>\r\n<p data-start=\"3071\" data-end=\"3145\">Writing has been a constant throughout my professional and scholarly life.<\/p>\r\n<p data-start=\"3147\" data-end=\"3414\">My work spans executive and corporate communication, academic scholarship, editorial writing, public writing, and books.
